Guys Night Out Promo - Well, well worth it

My friends and I hadn't been to a Rangers game in almost 2 years. One of my friends peeped the Guys Night Out promotion during the telecast of one of the games so we looked into it. It's actually a great deal. As you can see from the pic below, the vantage point of these seats in section 103 was top notch. You miss some of the action behind the net but you have a clear view in front. Obviously the other net is a little distant but it's almost as close as being in an upper 300s section. Very cool. In the past, we had a half season pack in the 300s and this was a big step up from those. The GNO bonuses were also very nice. The shirt they give wasn't branded with Guys Night Out but was a normal long sleeve NYR T-shirt. The box of popcorn was the standard box size which was great but as they mention, you're stuck with Bud or Bud Light for your free beer. But it's free and beer is not cheap at MSG so you take it. The section we were in had a beer garden right outside the entrance so problem solved. The game itself was fantastic, while the Rangers were down or tied for the entire game, it pumped the crowd up. Biron let up some softies but he's not the King so it's ok. Overall, a great deal and experience. My friends and I will be doing this again.

Game got better with each period. One issue ...

Overall the game ended up being great as the Rangers came back to win it in the third. The one issue I did have with the event is this ... I chose to treat myself to a second tier first row seat ... partially because I was looking forward to being able to have the use of the mini TV screens!? The problem was that they did not work/or would turn on???? The seats are advertised as having that as an incentive for purchasing and paying for the ticket. I am at a loss as to why they did not function?

Great service!

My family and I try to come to as many games and we finically can. With ticket prices for msg so high, we value every dollar we spend. On Sept 24, 2019 we went to see the Rangers play with my 2 kids. The seats were perfect! We love sitting in the 200 sections. My kids wanted ice cream so we went to the kiosk ice cream table around section 213-216. Next to elevators. Unfortunately the kids thought the ice cream tasted sour and didn’t want it. I myself thought the same thing. The gentlemen, tall guy accompanied us amazingly. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. He issued us a refund and gave my son a tub of popcorn. Great customer service! He went beyond what he had to do to make my 5 yr old son happy again! Can’t wait to go to the next game.

Good vibe

I went in to the game not expecting a lot and was very pleased with the entry into the arena it was fast and simple. Our seats were very good for the price and it was a good game which helps the vibe. The crowd was really into it the stereo in there is one of the best I have heard tons of bass and not to loud sounded great. Overall a great experience the only negative I saw was that the upper deck was packed and then there were a lot of seats open down low at ice level it just kinda kills the mojo of the rink when it is like that.

A great evening at Madison Square Garden

The Montreal Canadians and the New York Rangers have the best fans and the best venues to watch a hockey game. Being a HABS fan, I was impressed with the reception we received from the Ranger fans. We were welcomed, yet heckled, and we felt the passion of the Rangers fans. One thing Montreal and New York have in common, is that the atmosphere created in these two arenas provide incentive to the visiting teams to perform better. Who would not get pumped playing in that atmosphere. And although that not may be the best thing for the home team, it sure is the best for the supporting fans.
